MOVIE SYNOPSIS
Starring world action star Jet Li (李连杰), Ocean Heaven is a story about a terminally-ill father (played by Li) who devotes himself to taking care of his 22-year old son with Autism. His dying wish: to find a “sanctuary” for his son before succumbing to cancer.
Drawn from the first hand experiences of the director Xue Xiaolu (薜晓路) while serving as a volunteer at an autism centre in Beijing, Ocean Heaven invites us into the challenging world of people with Autism, and inspires us with the great courage and unconditional love of caring people around them.
Ocean Heaven is in Mandarin with English subtitles.
