As a voluntary welfare organization, St. Andrew’s Mission Hospital’s services are funded by Government grants and subsidies, donations from members of the public and the church community, and through fundraising activities.
St. Andrew’s Community Hospital is a community service of St. Andrew's Mission Hospital. It is dedicated to provide affordable step-down care to the community.
Being a non-profit voluntary welfare organisation, 90% of St. Andrew's Community Hospital (SACH) inpatient beds are subsidised C-class beds. A patient's average length of stay is about 30 days.
SACH's subsidised care is funded partially by patient billings (35%) and government grants and subsidies (45%). The balance 20% funding has to be obtained through fundraising and public donations. On an average, the Hospital has to raise S$100.00 per patient per day in order to offer our patients C-class charges and to cover operating costs.
St. Andrew's Lifestreams is also a community service of St. Andrew's Mission Hospital. Its funding comes from collection of course fees, government grants and public donations.
We also need to raise funds for the development of St. Andrew’s Autism Centre as part of our contribution in partnership with the government. We estimate this project to cost $4-6 million.
We look forward to your support in continuing our legacy of caring for the community.
